We process the following data to operate the website, respond to your messages, and measure performance:

Contact form: name, email, subject, message

Purpose:
To read and reply to your enquiry
Legal basis:
Our legitimate interest in responding to your request (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f))

Technical request data (e.g. IP address, country) processed by our hosting provider

Purpose:
To deliver the website you requested and protect it from abuse
Legal basis:
Our legitimate interest in operating the website (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f))

Aggregated performance metrics (page load time, Core Web Vitals) collected by Cloudflare Real User Monitoring

Purpose:
To measure and improve website performance
Legal basis
Our legitimate interest in improving website performance (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f))

Business contact details (company name, contact person, work email, phone, industry, website) collected from publicly available sources

Purpose:
To send personalised business proposals to potential clients identified from public profiles
Legal basis:
Our legitimate interest in direct B2B marketing (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f))

Legal basis for processing

We rely on our legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR: responding to contact enquiries and delivering the website you requested. We do not process your data on the basis of consent, and we do not carry out any processing that requires your consent.

Is providing your data required?

Submitting the contact form is voluntary. All fields are required so we can process and reply to your enquiry.

International data transfers

Resend and Cloudflare are based in the United States. We rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework adequacy decision (10 July 2023) for providers certified under it, supported by the standard contractual clauses in our agreements with each provider as a backup safeguard. You may request a copy of these safeguards at info@aurisnet.io.

Cookies

We do not use cookies, localStorage, advertising, or cross-site tracking technologies, and we do not fingerprint visitors. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) collects aggregated performance metrics like page load times and Core Web Vitals through privacy-friendly Real User Monitoring that uses no cookies and does not identify individuals.

Cold email outreach

We may send personalised business proposals by email to companies whose contact details we found in publicly available sources (e.g. Google Business profiles, public social-media pages, business directories, and company websites). We only approach businesses that, based on their public profile, may have a genuine interest in our web design and development services.

Sources of contact data

Contact details (company name, contact person, work email address, phone number, industry, and website URL) are collected exclusively from information that the business or contact person has voluntarily made publicly accessible. We do not obtain data through intrusive methods, from behind authentication barriers, by purchasing from data brokers, or by circumventing access controls or privacy settings.

Legal basis for cold email

We rely on our legitimate interest in direct B2B marketing under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. Where a business has voluntarily published its contact details on a public platform, there is a reasonable expectation that it may receive relevant commercial communications, particularly when it acts in a professional or commercial capacity (GDPR Recital 47).

Safeguards

Every cold email we send includes a clear instruction that the recipient may reply to opt out of further communications. Opt-out requests are processed within 24 hours. We clearly identify ourselves as the sender, including our company name, registered office, and contact details, in accordance with Hungarian e-commerce and advertising law (Ektv. and Grt.). Subject lines accurately reflect the content of the email and do not use misleading tactics. We limit the volume of outreach and follow-ups to ensure our communications remain proportionate.

Cold email data retention

We retain contact details used for cold email outreach for a maximum of 12 months from the first contact or the last positive interaction (e.g. a reply or a scheduled meeting), whichever is later. After this period, the data is deleted. If a business relationship is established, the relevant data is transferred to our client records and retained under the terms of our general data retention policy.

Contact data collected from public sources is used solely for our own direct outreach and is never sold, rented, or disclosed to third parties.

Your rights regarding cold email

If you have received a cold email from us, you may at any time:

  • Opt out of further emails by replying to any email you received from us
  • Request deletion of your data by contacting us at info@aurisnet.io
  • Request information about the data we hold about you and the legal basis for processing
  • Object to the processing under Article 21 of the GDPR, which takes effect immediately

How long we keep your data

We keep enquiry emails for 12 months after our last correspondence. If an enquiry becomes a client engagement, the relevant data is retained for the duration of that engagement plus the statutory accounting and archiving period (generally 8 years under Hungarian law). After these periods, the data is deleted.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access: obtain a copy of the data we hold about you
  • Rectification: have inaccurate data corrected
  • Erasure: request deletion of your data (note: where we must keep data to meet a legal obligation, such as retaining accounting records, that obligation may limit deletion)
  • Restriction: ask us to limit processing pending a request
  • Data portability: receive data you provided under contract in a structured, machine-readable format (this right does not apply to contact enquiries handled on the basis of legitimate interest)
  • Objection: object to processing based on legitimate interests
  • Complaint: lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

Your right to object

Because we process your contact enquiry on the basis of our legitimate interests, you have the right to object to that processing at any time. If you object, we will stop processing your data for that purpose unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests. To object, simply email us at info@aurisnet.io.

How to exercise your rights

Email us at info@aurisnet.io. We generally respond within one month (which may be extended by two further months for complex requests, in which case we will tell you). We may ask you to verify your identity.

Automated decision-making

We do not carry out any automated decision-making or profiling.

Your right to complain to a supervisory authority

If you believe we have handled your data incorrectly, you have the right to complain to the Hungarian data protection authority (contact details below). You may also complain to the data protection authority in the EU country where you live or where you believe the issue arose.
